Denomination: Catholic → Roman CatholicSt. Michael the Archangel parish was established in 1956 in Georgetown, Delaware. In 1986, a mission church, Mary Mother of Peace, became part of the parish. The website is both churches' presence on the world-wide-web. Located in the middle of Sussex County, the lower "slower" county of Delaware. St. Michael the Archangel is located in the county seat of Georgetown while the Millsboro church serves the Indian River communities. As a Roman Catholic community, we currently have over 1,700 families with over 4100 members.
